I purchased this generator and it new, it ran for 2 hrs then stopped producing power, why would this happen? No current is being generated!


The fields may need to be re-excited. Since this units only been used once though, I would recommend taking this unit to your nearest Briggs and Stratton service center to determine the exact issue. This unit carries a two year warranty that covers manufacturing defects and workmanship associated with that. A local Briggs and Stratton service center will be able to make warranty determinations.
