Will this damage wood decks?

I would say there is a possibility that it could nick or scratch your wood deck but I will also say that I did not have the rotating sprayers touch the patio surface at all when I use this item. It has thick brush bristles around the bottom that keeps the disc up off the ground and away from contacting the rotating sprayer.

This should be safe to use on most wood decks, however, this can be affected by numerous different factors (including how old the deck is, the type of wood used, etc.). Because of this, we recommend testing a small area of your deck first.
