What's the torque spec for the impact driver? Will it break lug nuts?


depends on which driver. the hitachi, dewalt, and porter cable, etc. are all rated in inch pounds. converting them over to ft. pounds rate them at about 100 to 115 ft. pounds. So no. those will not break loose lug nuts. However, the larger Dewalt impact is rated over 300 ft. pounds. It will. same with the larger Kobalt.

The maximum torque for the PS41 impact driver is 930 inch pounds. I apologize, it is not designed to break car lug nuts. I would suggest looking at our 18 volt high torque impact wrenches. Both model IWHT180-01 or model HTH181-01. These models have a maximum torque of 500 foot pounds.
