Does this table offer a top adjustment to raise and lower the bit? Also what is a table lift used for? And does it come with a miter gauge?

Thank you for your question. The mounting plate supplied with the RA1181 table has an access hole for above table wrench access for convenient depth adjustments of the router bit. Typically a router lift is essentially a router-table mounting plate with an attached carriage that holds the router. The miter gauge is not included with the table. To raise, lower or change bits, you must remove the router for access in order to make these adjustments. A table lift is an accessory that replaces the router mounting plate and has a lift adjustment mount for the router. This enables the router to raise above the table surface to change and adjust bits without removal of the router. This table does not include a miter. From the manual; "The aluminum T-slot miter gauge slot may be used with most stationary table saw miter gauges that measure 3/4″ wide x 3/8″ deep." Hope this helps.
