red is zero, sharpest spray, yellow is 15 and can be used to strip things off hard surfaces, green is 25 and a general purpose nozzle for cleaning siding, driveways and other surfaces, White is 40 and also a general cleaning tip. Black is for applying cleaning agents like soaps or bleach. I mostly use the green nozzle since I am cleaning around the pool area and the driveway or house. Hope this helps
