Is this product ok for cooking?


I've been wondering this myself. The cooking books and sites I've read only require that the twine be 100% cotton as this product claims to be. The other issue is whether this is "food grade." I can't find anything that explains how "butcher's twine" is manufactured/handled differently, so I suppose this time will work. Trussing a chicken tonight so I'll let you know.

Yes, Ive used it to tie up a roast before baking, etc. If you want to extra careful, you can cut a length of this twine and wash it first.
