Both tools use the same size accessories and same "collet"
Was this Answer Helpful ?Due to the VAST number of attachments furnished with this rotary tool I haven't had to buy any new new accessories or attachments. However, it is my understand from blogs by other users and I've been told by the Lowes salesman and a friend who owns one that they are interchangeable. The tool comes with several mandrels so the diameter of an accessory's shaft shouldn't be an issue unless you use something a lot bigger or a lot smaller and not designed for a hand held rotary tool. Be advised that I have NOT used other accessories purchased after market and considering all of what's in the box I can't imagine needing to for a long time. And, all the diamond cutters I've seen have the same diameter shaft until you get into ones designed for something like a full sized battery driven tool. I'd give it a try. Like I said, I had a Dremel and it did NOT have the power I needed, wore out during the Lowe's return period, and was replaced with this one which seems to have a lot more power and came with a lot of accessories you pay extra for with a Dremel. Remember with Dremel you're paying for the name and ads. Blue Hawk is something I'd never seen until a friend bought one and I was impressed with the hanging attachment for the motor and the flex cable driver. Something I did leave out in my review is the the flex cable got warm when used hard. Frankly, since I hadn't heard of the thing prior to buying it I was trying to see if I could make it fail while still returnable to Lowes. I got tired before the tool got tired.. so, its a keeper.
