If you could either build or incorporate it into another larger table to accommodate it's size. The speed of the router or sharper its what counts the higher the rpm the cooler it is going to cut,. The slower it spins it could melt the plastic.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, it can be done with this router. However it is very difficult and somewhat dangerous for a first timer. Try to find someone who has done this already and is willing to be with you when you do it for the first time. The plastic is very hard to hold onto and will likely mis-cut and even crack. Be sure to leave the peel off plastic on the hard plastic until all cutting is complete. This will help prevent scratches and make it a little easier to hold onto.
