How does this work? Does it work during a power outage? Does it work with all Basement Watch Dog sump pumps?

This WiFi Module sends alerts via email, text message, and push notifications (mobile app download required) to you when the system has any of the alarms going off. As long as your WiFi router is backed up via battery or UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) it will work during a power outage, as it is designed to have its own battery backup connection. However, even if you lose power to the router, you will be notified that you lost connection to the Web. It works with the Basement Watchdog Special + Connect, the Basement Watchdog Big Dog + Connect and the Basement Watchdog Big Combo Connect.
