Is it safe to be put in a room with birds?

I have an older blue and gold macaw ( I have had her for 23 years) and this is the only type of trap I use in her room. No problems at all, and I have been using these for a couple of years for prevention. Please consult your vet to be sure but I did some research myself because I am very cautious.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I would say yes. Nothing comes out of the trap which is made of sticky cardboard and a small square bait pellet.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I have one in my daughter's room stuck on the side of the cabinet where her conure 's cage sits. She was getting pantry months from the birdseed. The conure can't reach it and it contains no chemicals (just a pheromone-soaked piece of paper inside a very sticky cardboard 'trap.') Unless the birds can get to the trap and get stuck on the sticky substance inside, I see no danger. Just be mindful where you place it.
Was this Answer Helpful ?These are very effective BUT they smell soooo bad that i only use them in sheds and outdoor areas. I WOULD NOT put it in a room with any animal that has a nose!
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes. It contains no killing agents. It is a glue trap, though, so we don't recommend using these if birds are ever out of their cages.
