Is this safe around my dog??

I noticed on a earlier post that their dog got into the trap. I have to ask how could a 10 # dog get into a trap? if it is hung properly I would n't think you would have a problem. I had mentioned before that it will have a slight odor so if your dog pays attention to it move it somewhere your animal won't get to it. I have a lab and they love smells but this doesn't bother her. just be smart about it. I don't think the bait is toxic its just smells

sure it is. all you do is fill with water where it is marked on the side and hang it in the yard . I use a plant hook so its sits maybe 5 ft off the ground. it does have a slight odor because that is what attracts the flies to go in the trap. but no biggy. I think it says it holds 10000 flies its fun to see how many of those buggers are in there. I hate flies. its better than that sticky tape that hangs,
