One reviewer said the drill capacity is only 3/8", can someone explain this please?


You put drill bits into the electric drill's "chuck". The chuck of the drill holds one end of the bit. The chuck of this drill cannot hold an end of a bit that is larger than 3/8" in diameter. The other end of the bit, which cuts the hole, can be much larger in diameter.
