Will the white,20 volt lithium ion battery on my B&D weed trimmer work with this jig saw?


We use the same one in the blower this jigsaw and our black&decker drill and our string trimmer as well.

Sorry, my response was based on what the online tech provided me. I am not certain about your white B&D 20V battery, but the DeWalt battery is not compatible, although they are the same spec, the casing is slightly different. i returnd the jig saw and bought a DeWalt to match the batteries I already have. Lesson learned.

You can use the same 20V Lithium Ion battery from DeWalt tools on this jigsaw (DeWalt and B&D are the same company). I cannot say with absolute certainty, but I would bet my next paycheck the B&D battery for your weed eater will work as well. The battery specs are the same in both rating and package.
