Why do the specs show "IAPMO safety listing" yet there’s a prop65 warning label for it “WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm". Is it safe for potable water?

Hello. IAPMO safety listing refers to NSF/ANSI 61 & 372, meaning this is safe for potable water systems. Prop 65, however, is dictated by California to be on all products containing chemicals/elements deemed by the State of California to be harmful to humans, regardless of how little is present.
