How can you state this is lead free? Nowhere does it say on the package, nor is it stamped LF on the item.

Hello. Given how small fittings can be, we don't always have them marked on the fittings as being NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 compliant, which is why we use the checkmark icon with a circle. This is a common plumbing identifier for a product being marked as lead-free. We hope this helps with your project!
