Are the brass inserts removable? Or are they part of the coupling union?


Hi Handyman, the brass inserts are removable. These are designed to help 'stiffen' the tubing when connected to nylon or vinyl tubing. When you unscrew the nut, the ferrule and insert is removable. We hope this helps with your project.
