Does this 1/2 x 3/8 adapter require a washer in the 1/2" end? I installed it on my kitchen sink water hose, used teflon tape, but leaks a bit


Hi Misha, if the leak is from the 1/2-in FIP end, then the Teflon tape must not have sealed all of the threads. If the leak is occurring from the compression end, then that needs to be slightly tightened to prevent the copper tubing from breaking. No washers are required for this type of installation.
