Steam tray looks like plastic. Can i steam without rice, just hot water into pot and i want to steam some food on steam tray 1 hour longer. Is it ok?


Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. Yes you can just steam by just adding water to the inner pot and selecting the amount of time you wanted to steam for. The unit will allow you to set a steam time from 5 minutes up to 30 minutes. Should you need to steam longer you would have to reset the timer once the 30 minutes has elapsed.
