Could this be used to pump drinking water from an emergency water barrel? if not anyone have any ideas?


Just as long as you use it for water only!

Of course, that's pretty much what it was designed to do. Just keep it very clean, maybe pump a very dilute solution of Clorox between uses.

This should not be used for drinking water. The o-ring is lubricated which could contaminate the water.
