is there a special socket needed to remove the blades from a John Deere LA 115 tractor

I have a John Deere D130 42” cutting deck. The two sockets that can be used to remove and install the blades are an 15/16” socket which is the equivalent of a 24mm metric socket. Either one will work on the nut but remember to torque the nuts back to 65 ft lbs. Also have a block of wood to block or jam the blades while removing or installing and if you don’t have a torque wrench or one you can borrow (like from Advance Auto or Auto Zone), a “Beam” Style 1/2” Torque Wrench is relatively inexpensive and is actually more accurate than the “Click” Style Torque Wrench’s they sell. Insofar as the Socket you choose? Get a 1/2” Drive Socket either 12 point or 6 point and in shallow or deep right from Lowe’s. Since most everything is Metric insofar as “fasteners”, I’d go with the 24 mm socket if you have to Buy one. Otherwise, borrow an 15/16” socket or a 24 mm one. Hope this helps you and others looking at this post.
