Will water (rain) get into the mailbox if I hang it on our porch rails?

Thank you for your interest in our products.We cannot guarantee that a wall mount mailbox will prevent rain infiltration in all situations and mounting applications. Although designed to prevent the mail from getting wet, we do recommend mounting the mailbox under an eave.
