What is the opening size for incoming mail? USPS regulation for locked MBs require opening of incoming mail of at least 1.75 by 10 inches.


Hello, although the USPS does not regulate wall mount mailboxes, the Aspen Lockable Wall Mount Mailbox has two possible mail slot openings. The mail slot opening for the locking portion is 0.7-inches x 8.5-inches. If you would like to remove the locking portion of the mailbox, the mail slot measures 2.-inches x 8.5-inches.
