How does address mount ti this mail box? Does top decoration come off and mount address block on top?

Thank you for your interest in our products. We do not recommend taking the finial off. You can however put numbers on the side of the mailbox or underneath where is says U S Mail. You will need to measure the space before purchasing the numbers.
