If you already have a 4x4 post imbeded, does this post slip over that and then thru bolted?


You may need to shave off part of your post to get this post to slide over an existing 4 x 4. The 5105 is designed for in-ground installation, so you will need to dig a hole and back fill with concrete. The 5106 is the same style of post, but offers a surface mount installation which would need to be bolted to a concrete pad or some type of surface.
