Can you install the post over and existing 4 x 4 post currently in ground?


Thank you for your inquiry. This post is a 3 inch round post and requires in-ground installation. If you are able to reduce your existing post for the 3 inch post to slide over, as well as dig around the bottom to secure the post in ground (the post height is 53 inches), you may be able to install over the existing.
