60 -Degree White Screw-in Light sensor

AmerTac 60 -Degree White Screw-in Light sensor

The instructions say to rotate the sensor towards the light. How do you rotate it? I've looked and tried but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this

for use on patio fixtures, once you put the top of the enclosed housing on, the light goes on. Same with an indoor light once you put the lamp shade on it out on even in daylight. Any way to solve this issue to ensure it works from dusk to dawn.

The base has a spring loaded center pin. You can rotate the controller a little to get the proper alignment

After you screw it in tight, you can loosen it and adjust to a position that works. It has a spring loaded tip on the base and as long as that has enough pressure the timer will work.

The light control has a spring loaded contact point. Once you screw the light control all the way into the socket, if the sensor is not facing out (i.e towards the light), you can unscrew it up to 3/4 of a turn and still keep the contact point. This allows the control to be adjusted to the proper position for the area.
