What additional components are needed to install this light

It is an electrical device and being outside it requires a secure mount to handle the weight and potential effect of winds and other forces of nature. (I used lag bolts, but I put it on a wood 4x4 post) It would be best to feed the wire through the wall and run it inside. You still may need exterior wire or conduit, all of the associated connectors, wire nuts, staples, etc. If you have to ask for more detailed instructions, I suggest you have an experienced individual assist you or do it for you. Good Luck.

I installed this on the side of my house, I tied it into the existing wiring from the previous flood light, which was very easy to install. This is a very user friendly accessible installation. Good Luck.
