Night time temperature is accurite, but daytime is not how do I fix this?

I saw this on the Weather Underground web site when searching for something about my station. I've relocated my Acu-Rite station recently and now in the morning, my temperature spikes and then settles down. A user with a different station was asking the same thing. WU suggested the cause was solar radiation and recommended some sort of shielding on that side that would create shade during that time. Can you say aluminum foil hat? With mine I know the fan is working because I can get on the ladder and hear it.

Hello! We'd first recommend checking to be sure the solar panel, which powers the aspirating fan, is facing South and is free of dirt and debris. The location of the sensor may also play a part in a high temperature reading if you have it mounted near a surface, such as a roof, which may radiate heat during the day.
