Why is there a PROP 65 Warning for this product?

This proposition mandates that products, packaging, and places that may contain certain chemicals, even in minuscule amounts, must display this label notice. For this reason, the majority of products that are sold in the state of California are required to display this warning including big box stores, restaurants, fast food chains, offices, even schools and many other establishments. Proposition 65 labeling does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product safety standards or requirements.
