Is the Aspen Standard treated wood siding sheer strength similar to T1-11? Does it need to go over another product or can it be attached directly to


This material is quite similar to T1-11. I can not speak to the shear strength quantatively. Typically this product is installed over the house sheathing (and over house-wrap). However, this product can be installed directly to studs (for sheds and other unheated spaces). Hope this helps
