I want to use these on a deck. Is there another way to set up the solar panel other than a ground stake?


Thanks. I used two strings around the top of a 12 x 24' pergola that is on our deck. I placed tubs of flowers at the base of the posts and put the ground stakes in the tubs. This worked very well. These lights give a nice glow, and are still on in the morning when we get up.

You can remove the stake and attach the solar panel using zip ties or electrical tape. Make sure the solar panel is placed in an area that gets at least five hours of sunlight each day.

Yes, you could use a bracket for mounting poles and secure the stake to the side of a building or deck rail or similar surface.
