How is this Thunder Bay auger different from the Ardisam Earthquake? Is the Thunder Bay engine any better than the Ardisam?

This model is comparable in specifications to the Ardisam Earthquake. I have owned this model for over a year and use it in rocky soil for planting shrubs. With a proper gas mixture it has always started in 2 to 3 pulls. My only complaint is sometimes the clutch does not always release enough and the bit continues to spin. I left it fueled in my shed all winter and it started the next season without any issues, except I forgot to turn on the start switch first. After I figured that out, no problems.
