Yes this mask should easily keep pollen and allergies out while mowing. It may be a bit heavy on your face though if you have a lot of mowing. I use it when I am working on the woodwork in our home while using varnish stripper and applying polyurethane and it works great for that.

Yes it will. The key to third respirator is in the filters. Make sure that has a pre-filter too. The respirators usually come with both, and they are normally of good quality.
