I have asthma and I am very sensitive. Is this mask can help me with the smoke when somebody is cooking, smoking or for the smoke of the cars?

I lost a lung an April right in the middle of remodeling a house. I boght this mask to wear while working with insulation in the attic. It worked very well.

Lowe's is farming out questions again. Well, here goes. (You know that they don't pay me for this, don't you?) Sanding respirators are desingned for particulate matter. While a portion of tobacco smoke is particulate, it also contains gases. Cooking odors are gaseous. My guess is that this respirator will not help you. In closing, I have never heard of anyone being espoused to chemicals. Far be it from me to judge anyone. Good luck.
