The connector uses a proprietary design from the manufacturer that mates with a standard grounded 120v outlet. In order to connect end-to-end, just unscrew this adapter and connect the next string. Just make sure you do not exceed the allowed rating.

Was this Answer Helpful ?These lights, which are NOT actually LED, have a male end on one side, and a female end on the other. If you are linking sets of these together, you insert the plug in power cord on correct end, then unscrew the cap on the other end, then on the section you want to link together, uncap the correct end and screw the male end into the female end. You can continue linking additional sections together following the same steps. Check the directions to see how many section you will be able to link together, before you have to start another section with a power cord.
