I'm using this for some shelves. Can I sand it after the final coat with say, 400 grit? Also, can I finish it off with polyurethane?


Thank you for your question. You can lightly sand and buff out any imperfections on the final coat. Please be aware this may dull down the sheen in those areas. We would not recommend to topcoat this paint as it will not adhere correctly. Sincerely, Valspar Customer Support
