Is Valspar Signature guaranteed to cover in one coat?

Valspar Signature paint is guaranteed to cover in one coat, however, there may be exceptions if the paint is being applied to drywall, bare wood or a drastic change in color. We would recommend the use of a primer under these circumstances for best results.
