Are these plantation shutters solid core or hollow? Are they guaranteed not to warp?

Hi Keith: The composite materials are made up of PVC, calcium carbonate and other fillers. We do not recommend installing this produce near a heating source or in a Southern or Western exposed window that will be subject to high heat as warping may occur. For these areas, we would suggest Real Wood shutters.
