We applied this last yr - it's worn off in areas. Can I touch up, or do I need to remove old stain & start over? (If so, can u recommend a stripper?)

VALSPAR® FAST ACTING WOOD STRIPPER can be used to remove the stain (Requires neutralization with Valspar® All-In-One Wood Prep).
