What is the best way to correct excess stain? Sand and reapply in spots? Product in tacky to the touch in places.


Thank you for taking the time to ask a question. I'd suggest wiping the excess stain using 100% mineral spirits to try to remove it. Another option would be to chemically strip the stain off.
