can this paint be used on garage metal doors that were previouly painted?

yes it can but if color is different from doors it might take 2 coats

Was this Answer Helpful ? No, Even if you only wanted to paint the inside of the door. The temperature swings on a garage door are high and can cause bonding and mildew problems with all the moisture that can be generated. Recommend an alkyd bonding primer followed by either oil base or latex topcoat. Stay away from flat paints on doors.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I used it on a metal entry door after a light sanding and applying a primer. It went on (and looks the same) just as it did on wood. It's to be seen if it holds up to the sun.
