Can a power sprayer be used to apply paint? How many square feet will 5 gallons cover on a stucko outdoor surface?

Valspar Exterior Duramax Paint can be applied with an airless sprayer according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This product will cover approximately 400 square feet per gallon but this will vary depending on the texture and porosity of the surface. The spread rate on stucco will be less than what is stated on the label. Thank you for your interest in Valspar products!
Was this Answer Helpful ? You cannot use a sprayer for Duramax. We were informed by a representative of the manufacturer that very few professional painters have the appropriate spray tip. My husband and I used rollers and brushes.
Was this Answer Helpful ?You will need a quality sprayer with the proper tip size to spray your product. Look at the Graco line of sprayers and plan on spending not less than $300.00. Coverage should average about 300 sq' per gal.
