The best way to measure coverage is using the square footage of the space being painted and then divide that number by the number of square feet that the paint promises to cover using the recommended spread rate. The painting industry standard is to apply 2 coats. In this case, Storm Coat covers 350 ft²/gal - 450 ft²/gal. For a 14 by 60 home, we recommend 4 gallons of paint per coat.
