When dry, is this safe for my Dogs to lay on the stained deck? Does the stain penetrate the wood completely or will it become slick when it rains out?

This stain will penetrate and should not result in a slippery surface. The product would be considered non toxic once fully cured, however since we do not test for ingestion we would not recommend to use it where it may be chewed.
