My deck has some deck paint already on it. Will this Valspar exterior stain and sealer cover the coat that us already on my deck?


Thank you for your question. If the current stain is still beading water then you should not reapply a new coat. If the old stain has worn down then you can clean the surface and apply a new coat. Sincerely, L.T., Digital Care Team
