Is this appropriate for pantry shelving?


The question I should have asked is "Which is more appropriate for pantry shelving, oil or acrylic"? I was considering oil because I expected it would stand up better to heavy use. I ended up using an acrylic semigloss because oil not exposed to light yellows over time, and acrylic is better for fumes and cleanup. I let it cure for 30 days, and lined the shelves with 8 gauge frosted vinyl. This is working well--modern acrylic is much harder than the latex of the past.

Thank you for your question. This can be used on interior shelving. Since its oil based we do recommend extended cure times.
