Stain Differences


Thank you for your interest in Valspar. The Cabot Solid Color Acrylic Deck Stain is available in several bases. The color being tinted determines which base will utilized. In general, the 1806 base is used to tint deep dark colors, while the 1801 is used to tint lighter shades.
