New pressure treated deck-3 different answers here: no wait, 30 days, 60 days. What is correct?

The answer varies depending on how old the wood was to start. How the wood was stored prior to use. My wood was purchased 2 weeks ago. I has been dry and hot in Georgia. I pressured washed the boards and the water beaded right up. So that tells me that stain would also bead up and not fully seat in. It may coat the lumber but not be deep enough for max length of time before needing a coating again

If you are asking how long the wood needs to weather before being coated we recommend that it weather for at least 30 days so that the moisture content in the wood is under 15%.
