Does this product need to be thinned before using in a sprayer?


Just ran two gallons through a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP sprayer today and there was no need to thin it.

I wouldn't thin it at all. I just ran 10 gallons of this stain through my sprayer and it worked great and looks great.

I would recommend thinning this. Tried without and almost nothing came out and it clogged the nozzle. Your sprayer should come with a viscosity cup, add water in cup portions until it comes out continuously through the visc cup and you will notice a huge difference.
