Is this acrylic or latex? Can you use acrylic stain over this stain?


Where does it say acrylic?. Other stains say on front. My Valspar says natural base tintable&solid exterior stain. Nothing about latex or acrylic

Thank you for your question. The Valspar Solid Colored Stain is an acrylic based product. We do not recommend to stain over this product, since it seals the wood a different stain will not penetrate and remain tacky on the surface. Regards, Linda @ Valspar Customer Support
